Mario grew up in San Clemente, drawn to both the ocean and football. By 7th grade, he was training seriously, and after multiple injuries—including surgeries—he turned his frustration into motivation, committing to ‘bulletproofing’ his body. This mindset shift earned him a starting OLB spot on San Clemente High’s first CIF and State Championship football team. In 2018, he connected with Kevyn Dean and DSC, developing a deep passion for surfing. Now CPT and FRCms certified, Mario blends experience, training, and a dedication to mastering both mind and body. As he puts it, ‘the endless pursuit of learning is constantly evolving—and I plan to be at the forefront of it.'”
